More Than Two Decades of Texas Bankruptcy Experience
Bankruptcy has been a central part of Christopher’s legal career.
In 2007, Christopher played a key role in the development of Allmand & Lee, which grew into one of the largest consumer bankruptcy practices in Texas. He later founded Lee Law Firm, where he continued representing bankruptcy clients throughout North Texas.
Christopher subsequently joined longtime colleague Jon Reaves to form Reaves & Lee, PLLC, bringing his established bankruptcy practice and decades of experience into the current firm.
Today, Christopher leads Reaves & Lee’s bankruptcy practice and helps develop the systems and processes the firm uses to manage cases throughout Texas. He regularly advises clients concerning Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, while also handling more complex matters involving business ownership, Chapter 11 and Subchapter V reorganizations, tax obligations, significant assets, repeat filings, and contested bankruptcy issues.
A substantial portion of Christopher’s practice is concentrated in Dallas-Fort Worth and the Northern District of Texas, although he represents bankruptcy clients throughout the state.
His approach is straightforward: understand the client’s entire financial situation before recommending a solution. Bankruptcy is rarely just about unsecured debt. A filing can affect a client’s home, vehicles, business interests, taxes, lawsuits, and long-term financial plans. Christopher focuses on helping clients understand those consequences before the case is filed and developing a strategy designed around the client’s actual circumstances.
Motorcycle Law and Personal Injury
Christopher is also an avid motorcycle rider and represents injured riders through Hammerhead Motorcycle Law, the motorcycle-focused personal injury division of Reaves & Lee.
For Christopher, representing motorcyclists is personal. He understands the culture, the risks, and the realities of riding because he is part of the motorcycle community himself.
That experience matters when a motorcycle crash becomes a legal claim. Riders are sometimes confronted with assumptions about speed, risk-taking, or responsibility simply because they were riding a motorcycle. Christopher understands the difference between those stereotypes and the realities riders encounter on the road.
Together with Jon Reaves, also an avid rider, Christopher helped create Hammerhead Motorcycle Law to provide Texas motorcyclists with representation from attorneys who understand both motorcycle injury litigation and the people they represent.
